the weight

The Weight is an immersive narrative show taking place in 1986, the year that the federal blood ban on gay men was enacted. Its story follows grief-stricken Orlando, a gay man in Los Angeles, after his longtime boyfriend dies of kidney disease. Unable to donate his own blood to save his partner, Orlando enlists the help of those he meets in the hospital waiting room to perform a transformative ritual. 

 

the OCTOPUS

The Octopus is a collaborative / semi-role playing, live boss battle designed to test a group’s teamwork, time management, challenge prowess, puzzle solving, and decision making skills.

The BacheLARP is a one-day live game based on the hit reality television show, The Bachelor. Usually srrounding the celebrant of an event (the “BacheLARPer”), contestants vie for admiration through a series of challenges designed to test their knowledge of the celebrant’s life and tastes.

Surfifer (nine seasons)

SurFifer is a live immersive game based on “Survivor” that is produced bi-annually for a public participants who fly in from across the country. This event has been running for 5 years, and I’ve worked on production coordination, challenge design, and marketing materials.

the traitors: murder of crows

The Traitors: Murder of Crows is an evening-long social deduction game modeled after games such as Mafia, Werewolf, Coup, and the television show, The Traitors. Players take the role of innocents who must play parlor games for immunity and vote each round on who they believe to be the “traitor”.
