Prom COMES AT YOU FAST

Based on actual events, Fun Center is an narrative-experimental hybrid that focuses on Milo, a high school go-kart mechanic who wrestles internally with whether or not to ditch his date to his quickly-approaching senior prom. Social suicide and Milo's dignity hang in the balance, as he ponders on his situation. Every interaction during the two days before the dance adds a steady increase of pressure on Milo to make a decision, and during his daydreams, his meandering thoughts, and his blank stares, he forgets to keep one things in mind: Prom comes at you fast.

aBOUT THE FILM

Fun Center is a film that is extremely important to me. Not only because it has some real life drama attached to it, but also because it was the first time i had ever produced a film totally from scratch. From the fundraising to location scouting, i allowed myself and my team to learn the ropes and make mistakes. And you know what? i think everyone's hard work really shows in this odd little short.
